This week we’ve all learned about overtures Trump lawyer Michael Cohen made to companies as the new President was heading into office, and now there’s news of another.
Per The Wall Street Journal, Cohen reached out to Ford “but was quickly rebuffed.”
And this news has reached Robert Mueller‘s office:
Mr. Cohen, touting his proximity to the president, contacted Ford’s office in Washington D.C.—an approach that Special Counsel Robert Mueller later learned about in the course of his investigation, the people said.
Mueller’s team has also apparently “requested information from Ford” on this.
This comes on the heels of reports about Novartis and AT&T confirming payments to Cohen’s firm.
